DAVID LIPSITZ

DAVID LIPSITZ

MD, FACS

David Lipsitz, MD, FACS: Dr. Lipsitz was inspired to a career in urologic surgery by the untimely death of his father from aggressive prostate cancer at an early age. At that time, clinical trials were inaccessible for the average person. Dr. Lipsitz went on to complete his medical training at the University of Colorado and Surgical/Urology training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lipsitz has consulted with industry professionals to assist in pharmaceutical and medical device development. He continues to be board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of various medical and research organizations.

In addition to his medical activities, Dr. Lipsitz has been involved in various nonprofits both medical and non-medical related.

While managing a busy surgical and lecture schedule, Dr. Lipsitz went on to develop a successful clinical research organization as principle investigator for thousands of clinical studies. Dr. Lipsitz realized the limitations of current patient recruitment platforms. He also became concerned about the growing number of patients who could not afford the medications he prescribed. Dr. Lipsitz was determined to make a change.

Dr Lipsitz left clinical and research practice in 2017 to develop CliniSpan Health. His goal is to improve the awareness and enrollment of clinical trials while making a meaningful difference for nonprofits.
